About a month ago, nine scouts and three leaders from Uganda set out to bike from Uganda to Rinkaby. On Sunday the 24th, they reached the camp. But before that, we managed to find them in Kristianstad. In the clip, we hear John, their expedition secretary talking about hardships and things that turned out great.
On their way from Italy to Sweden, the Ugandan bicycle teams received help and guidance from scouts and other people from the respective countries. In Malmö, a Emelie became their guide.
Respect is a word regularly overused and often wrongly used, but it applies 100% to these guys. This is what Scouting should be about. Well done the Ugandan Scouts.
