Everyone has arrived now, ready for the camp and looking forward to meeting each other.
Yesterday the participants were arriving to their sub camps and started to set up their tents.
We set out to see how the participants felt about their first real day with activities in the camp site.
We asked them about what they are looking for in the jamboree and what they thought about the camp for now.
“The camp is so beautiful and very big I will try to do everything here, that’s great,” said Alexis Poupien and Bouhelier Paul from France.
Some Scouts were tired after a very long trip, but they are ready for the activities.
“We had to go by bus for seven days but it were awesome that we travelled through many countries, we are looking forward to meeting Scouts from many different cultures,” said Anze Trcek and Nusa Preleil from Slovenia .
The Scouts from Japan had something to say about the Swedish Scouts hospitality.
“Thank you so much for bringing our luggages from the bus stop to our tents in Autumn Village, we are very happy to being here and hopefully see you on the next Jamboree in Japan,” said Yasuko Ouhi.
They all like what they seen for now and looking forward to have a new friends. “It was a lovely yesterday when I saw all the Scouts from the whole world together, I want to meet more friends and yes I’m Ready for the camp,” said Meabh Flanagan from Ireland.

This is the greatest experience in my life as a Scout,
The staff and organizers did a fantastic job,second to none. From the train station to the bus to the camp..everyone were so helpful and courteous,it is surely going to be a memory of a lifetime..Thanks Sweden
