Angry birds live in Summer Town

Mellow Finns got some Angry Birds

Addiction to one of the most popular mobile games in the world can now be cured right here at the Jamboree with no electricity and in three dimensions. The Finnish troop from Örnsköldsvik subcamp has their own big sling set up and ready for some feathery action!

Some nasty pigs have stolen the eggs and the birds want to get their revenge. Sounds stupid? Actually it’s stupid enough to be one of the most popular mobile games of all times.

“Our troop has members near Pori, where Rovio interactive, the creator of Angry Birds came from, so we thought we could share this with rest of the Jamboree”, explains Lasse Lund from the Finnish troop.

The game which saw a lot of test run at the start of the Jamboree was in full operational swing at the Cultural Festival yesterday. Currently the birds outnumber the pigs three to one, so don’t be afraid to try you bird-slinging skills.
