The night before Thursday August 4th there were reports of damage in an exhibition tent shared between the German and the Palestinian Scout Organizations on the World Scout Jamboree. Nothing has been reported stolen. A Palestinian flag and a map have been torn down and information materials have been left in disorder.
The incident has been reported to the Jamboree Management who have investigated. The Palestinian Scout organization has decided not to proceed with a police report.
Previous information in media about a note left at the site has appeared to be false.
The World Scout Jamboree Management condemns all types of vandalism and damage that goes against Scouting values.
The Swedish Palestinian Group have been informed.
