Get Involved
Together, we will create the 22nd World Scout Jamboree! Delivering the ultimate camp experience for the participants will require a great deal of people planning ahead and even more of us contributing on the campsite during the Jamboree. There are several ways to be involved and we hope that you will find something that's right for you!
International Service Team (IST)
Would you like to be part of the Jamboree and deliver an amazing experience for thousands of young people? If you have turned 18 by the start of the Jamboree, you are welcome to participate as a member of the International Service Team (IST), an exciting opportunity. The IST Experience is a modern programme relevant to the challenges of today's society, based on the Scout Method. You will belong to an IST patrol, which will need to be prepared to take on any task needed to make the Jamboree a reality! The programme will also include leadership training, so you can develop as scout leader, and as an individual, and in turn contribute to development of the Scout Movement. You should apply through your National Contingent.
Jamboree Planning Team
The Planning Team is an international team appointed to plan and prepare the 22nd World Scout Jamboree. We are now busy recruiting members to all departments in the organisation. The tasks require commitment, leadership skills and planning experience. We welcome all active Scouts to fill in our online application. Please note that all applicants will need the approval from their National Scout Organisation and will have to follow the procedures of their NSO. We need people from now onwards and all the way up to 2011.
